Legible Process/Illegible Type

Upon graduating, Sarah put her award winning wallpaper collection into production with Anstey Wallpapers in Loughborough.

The collection portrays Sarah's signature drawing style, where each design has been constructed out of typography manipulated using origami folds, and then mixed with marks and textures collected from the print room. Sarah saw this as a way of visually communicating how the wallpapers are made, and therefore the designs are a playful switch between what is usually legible, typography, and what is not, process.

The result is a bold and rhythmic collection of geometric wallpapers, all silkscreen printed onto sustainably sourced, PEFC approved paper here in the UK.
