Sarah Milton is a British Surface Pattern Designer & Printmaker who is best known for her silkscreen printed abstract, typographic wallpapers and artist prints. Her unique drawing style of manipulating typography with origami folds first began as a student at Leeds College of Art. Sarah graduated with a first class honours dgree in Printed Textiles and Surface Pattern Design in 2011.

After graduating she moved back to her hometown of York where she spent 2 years developing her practice alongside other young British designers, and old school friends, Phil Procter, Will Vincent , Turner & Harper, and John Green. Sarah is now living and working in East London.

As an avid supporter of traditional print processes Sarah loves to show off the print processes used within her work; deeming it her own form of Process Art. She collects marks and textures directly from the print room to work back into her designs as a way of visually communicating how her prints are made. Mix this with her striking distortion of typography and the result is a body of work that playfully switches what is usually legible, typography, and what is not, process.
